From the communist Romania to the European Romania Romania’s benefits and costs of the accession to the European Union

The aim of this paper is to analyze and to highlight the political, economic and strategic consequences of Romania’s adhesion on European Union for Romanian transition from communism to democracy. The research will try to identify the main benefices and costs of the integration of the Romania in European Union.
